This policy explains how Virtua Technologies India Private Limited (“we”), which operates MC Ventures, collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use this website, register for an event or apply for membership. It is published in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Information we collect

Contact details — name, mobile and WhatsApp number, email address and city.
Event registration — attendee category, selected pass, business or venture name, capital range and start timeline.
Membership applications — role, business stage, industry, goals, capital range, timeline, readiness, LinkedIn and Instagram links (optional), referral source and your reason for joining.
Payment information — processed by Razorpay. We receive the payment ID, order ID, amount and status. We never receive or store card numbers, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking passwords.
Technical data — IP address and basic request logs, used only for security (for example rate limiting) and keeping the website working.

2. How we use it

To process registrations and payments, and send confirmations, receipts and event details.
To review membership applications and contact you about membership.
To contact you by WhatsApp, phone or email about the event or membership you registered for.
To deliver membership benefits, and for security, fraud prevention and legal compliance.

We do not sell your personal information.

Razorpay — to process payments (Razorpay’s own privacy policy applies to payment data).
Google (Google Workspace / Sheets) — where membership applications are stored.
Our hosting and email providers — to run the website and communicate with you.
Partner companies delivering a benefit you signed up for (for example Expertisor Academy access) — only the details needed to provide it.
Authorities — when required by law.

4. Cookies

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Embedded videos (Vimeo or YouTube) may set their own cookies under their providers’ policies when you play them.

5. Storage and security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with reputable service providers. Access is limited to authorised team members. We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (for example tax and accounting records), after which it is deleted.

6. Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, withdraw consent for future communication, or nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf. Email us from your registered email address and we will respond as required by law. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already done, or records we must keep by law.

7. Children

Our events and membership are for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from children.
